Pool

Apparently there are some homeowners that have no respect for the pool and the rules, how unfortunate. There was another instance over this past weekend where the pool was closed because the motor to the main pump was broken. The chain and lock to the gate was cut open and the sign that said “Pool Closed” was tossed into the woods. Unfortunately some homeowners do not understand the reasons why the pool is closed at times…..such as dog hair, excrement, pump not working….etc. and feel they have the right to “Vandalize” the property because they want to swim. This type of behavior cost the HOA (all the homeowners and themselves) extra money each time they do this. They are only hurting themselves with this behavior and their neighbors.

People are using the furniture for the pool to hop over the fence and go swimming. What happens because of this is the pool has to be shut down even longer because now the chemistry in the pool is all out of whack because of the poor circulation with the pool pump motor being broken and people breaking into the pool to go swimming.

The pool was planned on being opened up today but because of certain ignorant homeowners it will not be open until Wednesday or Thursday.

Please, if you see anyone in the pool when they are not supposed to be call the police to have them removed. This is a serious problem.

Lastly, children are not allowed at the pool without adult supervision and if you are at the pool with your children.....supervise them! It is very innapropriate and disrespectful to all the homeowners who do respect and want to enjoy the pool to let your child put the pool furniture in the water, this is not only wrong but dangerous.

If all the above behavior keeps happening, DHEC will surely shut down the pool and no one will be able to use it!
